Sore Throats, Whiskey, Women and 313

So the past week or so have been rather eventful. I skipped virtually every class in the last week of school, and the MUMI presentation (with good reason of course). Was down with throat inflammation and had fever and all that crap, until I finally gave up and gave in and went to see the doctor (I'm someone who's really against taking medicine). I had my medical check-up too and I came out with a PES B fitness level. Oh well, I guess anything's better than getting PES A.

So the past few days have been late nights, drinking and partying...A LOT. Really uneventful nights I guess, the clubbing scene just isn't really productive even though it's fun. The music and crowd just makes me want to keep going back to Zirca. Was at St. James yesterday but we walked out at 1+ and went home early because it was very crowded (with guys) and it's definitely not as fun as Zirca/ Rebel. Anyway I finally broke my meat fast today with a medium-rare US prime Rib-eye steak. I'm gonna go on an alcohol fast now, I guess it'll be much easier.

I've also been hanging out at 313 quite a bit (the new shopping center at Somerset). It's our new chill-out place because I'm sick of Starbucks and their thick and diabetes-inducing coffees. Hopefully BMC will be our new cafe, though the signature Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee sucks (at least to me). I'll just stick to regular black coffee from now on, no more coffee with fancy names.

So this is just an update of what's been happening since I haven't been online much. I'll also be busy with my drums and songwriting. Starting to get my inspiration back, which is great. Going back to listen to Dave Matthews again, along with John Mayer, Jason Mraz and some other new stuff, like Imogen Heap and Aimee Allen. Also trying to get inspiration from Tom Waits (one of the greatest songwriters/ artists of all time). Life goes on.

Just came back from a Christmas gathering. First of this year. Hopefully there'll be many more to come. Cheers to a Merry Christmas.
