The Birth of Something Old..

So I've decided to start a perfectly new blog. This calls for a celebration, *opens bottle of "Shampagne"*. There won't be many interesting stuff here. Just frequent (VERY FREQUENT) updates of what comes to mind. A whole flurry of randomness and happenings in this sick, sick world, and also my mind's reaction to said events...or perhaps not. I'm too lazy. So today is Halloween, and I'm home on such an awesome evening. Everyone's probably out dressed up and partying (in the heavy thunderstorm) while I'm geeking out at home in front of my PC (yes, using a PC adds to my geek factor).

It's sad really that the way Singaporeans celebrate Halloween is mostly spamming messages on facebook, wlm, etc that say "Happy Halloween!!", but they're all sitting at home. Save a few adventurous ones who roam the streets in fancy clothes and costumes. Oh how I wished I were one of them, but I don't have the time, money and company to celebrate this (self-proclaimed) festival with. That sucks..

Frankly speaking, I doubt this blog will actually last very long. I just started it on impulse and out of extreme boredom (yes, that's right! not just regular boredom..but EXTREEMMMEEE boredom. the type that skateboards). I think most of you won't get what I'm trying to say here. In your minds you're probably thinking like "wtf is this guy doing lor? he think he very funny ah? wtf la! waste my time la!" and then you carry on reading. LOSERS!

But then again there might not even be anyone reading this. It's sad really, being a blogger. It's like you're talking to someone who isn't there and maybe, JUST MAYBE, someone will chance upon your otherwise deserted blog and bother to read your totally uninteresting post (except maybe to you). But I'm sad like that. Life and irony is funny ain't it?

So I'm also guessing that you guys, my non-existant readers, have noticed my template (or lack of) and are probably thinking that you can do better. YES YOU CAN!!! I'm looking for a totally unique and simple template and I'm far too lazy to make one using my ineptness at HTML. So please help me.

I shall leave you with a nonsensical, totally unrelated whatchamacallit....anecdote.

There was a little acorn who was rolling around in the grass. As it rolled along it bumped into a little flower. The acorn looked up and exclaimed "Hey! Watch where you're going!" The flower calmly replied, "I'm rooted here. If anyone's going anywhere it's you asshole!"
